CSM Visited by the Welsh Automotive Forum
On Tuesday, CSM was delighted to receive a visit from Dana of the Welsh Automotive Forum. Dana was treated to a tour of the factory and shown a few of the projects that CSM is currently working on. CSM appreciated the breadth of Dana’s knowledge and was grateful for all of Dana’s advice.
Dana summarised her visit via a post on the Welsh Automotive Forum’s Linkedin:
Ever opened a car door or popped the boot? Then you've probably used a CSM Pressings component—without even realising it!
CSM Pressings are trusted by the majority of vehicle OEMs for their precision brackets and mechanisms, delivering unrivaled reliability and commitment to quality. But what truly stood out to me when I visited Andrew Clarke was their strength in innovation—constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
🔧 Engineering the Future
Beyond their core pressing work, CSM has a dedicated innovation team exploring cutting-edge solutions across industries, from automotive to marine and agriculture. They are also driving sustainable innovation with a suite of 3D printers capable of producing designs in renewable plastics—a game-changer for businesses looking to prototype responsibly.
🌍 Championing Diversity & Skills
CSM doesn’t just invest in technology; they invest in people. They actively champion neurodiversity, working with local community groups to showcase neurodivergence as a superpower for engineers. This commitment extends to real opportunities—employing neurodiverse talent and allowing them to flourish, leading to some remarkable innovations.
Their investment in skills is equally impressive, with last year’s apprentice winning ‘Apprentice of the Year’ for Neath—a testament to their support for workplace training and the next generation of engineers.
